After the presidential elections of October
15, 2003, an official release of the Central Election
Committee (CEC) gave Isa Gambar 14% percent of the
electorate, and the second place in
election. Nevertheless, the OSCE, the Council of Europe, and
other international organizations, as well as local
independent political and NGOs voiced concern about observed
vote rigging and a very flawed counting process. Several
independent (both local and international) organizations
that had been observing and monitoring the election directly
or indirectly declared Isa Gambar'
winner in the 15 October election. |
Isa Gambar ran
for 2005 parliamentary elections as an Azadlyk Aliance (block)
co-chair. Although the block won the election, its rivals were
elected as a result of gross irregularities. Isa Gambar was not
allowed to go into Parliament.

Science on Chemistry.
Late mother Tahire Zeynalova was a Doctor of
